I had initially recorded this in contemplation of how I was going to represent what I wanted to say to an audience. The words themselves are akin to this contemplation, and it was not my initial intention to present them in this crude form either. However, in deep contemplation of honesty, and the importance of it when expressing oneself to a person, or an audience, or even to oneself, I decided to do nothing to it but add subtitles. Most of the time in the video I'm simply reading from the screen, and I watch myself in retrospect with curiosity. I pay attention to my body's movements as my mind tries to figure out how to represent how to express a deep confession of my soul in a way that doesn't so closely resemble itself, but rather something of acceptable (but fake) beauty or charm. I realized that had I done this to entertain my audience, rather than to confess and express my true self, it would demean the purpose of the entire thing and it would become as useless as a p! iece of toilet paper, or a commercial. So, this is not made to sell an image, or to impress people with fake composure, and in truth I can't say for sure what it was made for at all. But to me, all pretentiousness aside, it is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen come out of myself, because I don't think I have ever had a moment when I was entirely myself and confident enough to show it to everyone. When and how to learn the topspin against backspin

www.PingSkills.com - Ask the Coach I have a Korean coach that I respect a lot, but I have one question about their teaching approach. The coach really emphasizes delaying teaching beginning students to topspin or loop. I don't disagree with this, but instead of teaching topspin, teaches students to first hit or counter against underspin by opening the racket more than a normal, counterdrive stroke. I haven't really seen this stroke taught or emphasized in any table tennis training literature. So I'm wondering if this is an older style technique that has fallen out of favor over the years, or if this is something that is still frequently taught? My second question is, when is the appropriate time to teach topspin or loop after students have learned to counterdrive and push fairly well? I know the answer to this is probably "it depends" but generally speaking, how long should one wait? Thanks!
