Before Final Fantasy X, I honestly knew nothing of the franchise. When I finally got coaxed into playing X, I fell in love instantly - and I wasn't the only one to feel that way. A lot of people were so astounded by the canon pairing, that SE decided to make the first direct sequel. The romance built up nicely and really, as the story began to unfold, the cliche of their relationship hit me right in the gut. The fact that Tidus gave his 'existence' for Yuna's safety, and then Yuna's undying devotion to find her lost love says it all. The ending of X, though some of us seen the ending coming, was bittersweet, and yet....we craved more. Never in my life has a game invoked tears from me, but this one did. And to this day, my OTP has never changed. I cling to their! stories as a couple, in hopes that one day, I'll find a love as strong as theirs. They had a love that will last a life time and then some. :) My least favorite ship has got to be Snow & Serah, even though they are, in fact, a canon pairing.
